Friends of Wisconsin was created to
protect and enhance Wisconsin’s urban and
rural landscapes by providing citizens with
the inspiration, information and tools they
need to effectively participate in the
decisions that have the greatest impact on
community health: where we live, work,
learn, play and how we get from one place to
another.
Biodiversity
Project, based in Madison Wi, is a
non-profit communications organization that
develops messaging and strategic campaigns
designed to appeal to people's values and
concerns and motivate them to protect the
vital ecosystems upon which all life
depends.
Citizen
Action of Wisconsin is a grassroots
organization with over 90,000 members from
across the state. We are a catalyst for
positive change bringing people together to
fight for democracy, opportunity, and
community.

Clean Wisconsin, an environmental
advocacy organization, protects Wisconsin’s
clean water and air and advocates for clean
energy by being an effective voice in the
state legislature and by holding elected
officials and polluters accountable.

- With decades of experience working with
government, industry and the public,
Headwater's work involves improving
everyone's quality of life, reducing
environmental threats to ourselves and
future generations, and creating a more
sustainable world.
The
Greater Madison Healthy Lawn Team is
a group of citizens who are concerned with
the health and environmental effects of
pesticide and fertilizer use in our
community. They come together to
educate the public, retailers, landscapers
and policy makers about the hazards of lawn
chemicals and the viability of safe
alternatives.
The
Mining Impact Coalition of
Wisconsin is an organization committed
to research and education about the social,
economic and environmental impacts of
metallic and non-metallic mining.
The
Sierra Club is America's oldest, largest and most
influential grassroots environmental
organization. The
John Muir Chapter (JMC) is the
Wisconsin state branch of the Sierra Club.
WISPIRG’s
mission is to deliver persistent,
result-oriented public interest activism
that protects our environment, encourages a
fair, sustainable economy, and fosters
responsive, democratic government.

Wisconsin Interfaith Climate & Energy
Campaign's purpose is
to inform, train, and activate people of all
faiths and faith communities to take
concrete steps to work toward a just and
sustainable future out of a faith-based
orientation.
The
Wisconsin Wildlife Federation
is comprised of 155 hunting, fishing,
trapping and forestry-related groups.The
Federation is the Wisconsin affiliate of the
National Wildlife Federation and is
dedicated to conservation education and the
advancement of sound conservation policies. |
